  2.                Foodco Version 5.5 Installation Instructions.

  6. 1. Make sure all the files are in the same directory:
  7.  
  8.         INSTALL.EXE     Install program
  9.         FOODCO.EXE      Foodco 5.5 self extracting zip (don't run)
  10.         ACRODOS.EXE     Acrobat Reader 1.0 self extracting zip (don't run)
  11.         INSTALL.DAT     Install data file
  12.         DISK.ID         Disk identifier for install
  13.         README.TXT      This file

  16. 2. Type INSTALL.EXE then press enter from the directory where the above files
  17.    are located.

  20. 3. Read the messages, when done with each one press ENTER.

  23. 4. Select the drive that you would like Foodco 5.5 installed onto.  You will
  24.    need approximately 15 Mb free to install Foodco 5.5, Acrobat Reader 1.0, 
  25.    and the sample data files.

  28. 5. If you already have Foodco 5.x installed on your computer, it will be
  29.    completely overwritten with this version.

  32. 6. If you don't have enough hard drive space free, the program will not be
  33.    installed correctly.

  36. 7. After the installation of the program is completed, the Fast Start Online
  37.    Manual will be loaded with the Acrobat Reader.  You can view it online, or
  38.    print it out.

  41. 8. After reading the Fast Start Online Manual, reboot your computer so that
  42.    changes made to CONFIG.SYS and AUTOEXEC.BAT will take effect.

  45. 9. Run FOODCO5 from the \FOODCO5 directory.

  50. To start the Acrobat Reader after exiting, type ACROBAT from the \ACRODOS
  51. directory.  Then open FASTSTRT.PDF to view the Fast Start Online Manual.  Or 
  52. you can type MANUAL from the \FOODCO5 directory.
